The gastronomic offer of MNL is inter-national because it is a cuisine of nations, of culinary notions from here and there united by the nexus of a city made of foreigners: Málaga.
The menu of MNL adapts to this gastrosophy of multicultural flavors united by adopting an extensive offer of dishes but reduced in size. A very careful and creative elaboration with continuous winks to products and recipes from Málaga to which we add those of the different nationalities that have coexisted/passed through here.
MNL is a Haute Cuisine of Nations… United in and because of Málaga.
We are in the restaurant Mi Niña Lola Terrace. A place of cuisine and food open to the city of Málaga and to those who live here permanently or just for a few hours. Therefore, MNL is a restaurant whose commitment lies in knowing how to welcome our guests, cook with knowledge, apply the best cuisine techniques and put a good hand and heart to offer the own and the foreign. Here nobody gets short, we take care to understand and assimilate other culinary techniques, other products, and make them our own. Here nobody and nothing is strange or intrusive.
Because just as Málaga carries in its DNA the traces of the ancient Mediterranean races that arrived to its port; today, the recent foreigners from Europe and America arrive via its international airport, converging in their way of cooking and eating. Hence the determination of MNL in that its cuisine is from Málaga in its broadest and fullest sense. With roots in its own history but open to the gastronomic cultures that have always converged here. Nothing more malagueño than the foreign, nothing more malagueño than the “guiri”. MNL is an open terrace. It is a place to see… and be seen.
The central idea of the menu is its linear nature and the ability of the diners to choose as they please, and according to their preferences or whim, any of the 22 savory dishes and 3 sweet dishes that make up our menu. Although we also offer several menus that our team have planned and preselected in a balanced way.
The dishes are smaller than usual, some are mere bites, others a couple of bites and others are half portions. To taste them together you just need to multiply the number of units by the number of diners. We recommend a minimum of four dishes per diner to be satisfied.
Mi Niña Lola is a restaurant of high cuisine, a Young Haute Cuisine in terms of care and attention to the best cooking techniques. Also, with respect to the design of its gastronomic offer and the selection of the dishes that finally appear on the menu. A work of substance and form to which apply the creativity and originality that the restaurant’s team confers to it.
Mi Niña Lola seeks and wants to offer a cuisine open to all cuisines and to all people. It is open to anything foreign. It is true that the cuisine of Málaga is the house cuisine, the base from which we create our unique style by adding foreign ways, products and cooking customs.
MNL’s cuisine wants to be a reflection of the open spirit of Málaga. Open to business, to other products, to trade, to exchange, to other people and languages. Open also to the streets and to what people eat in them, elevating it to the nth degree and to the elegance in cooking. Its cuisine is a refined general culinary culture.
